I was a bit nervous about uploading this video because it's a total change from my usual Gelli Plate printing tutorials. Can I be honest with you? I used to think folding paper was the boring bit — the thing you rush through to get to the good stuff.
Turns out, it's the bit that decides whether your finished piece looks the way you pictured it, or leaves you scratching your head wondering why it went a bit wrong.
Tomorrow's video shows you exactly how I fold paper properly so that the coming videos, where I use my Gelli Plate papers in various mixed media projects, really begins.
If you've ever had a piece not quite come together at the end, this is probably why.

Last week we had a really fab time rescuing those papers that were looking a bit lost in the folder of doom. Well, I’ve been busy in the studio and tomorrow, I’m going to show you how to take those revamped Gelli Plate papers and turn them into a lovely little booklet structure.We’re going to be brave and fold them up nice and snug—it’s a proper transformation that I think you’re going to love. Keep an eye out for the premiere tomorrow, I hope to see you there!
