I'm still here! Happy Wednesday all. I know things have been slow over here, but for good reason. Here is a quick update as to what has been going on behind the scenes at EKP...
-2027 senior sessions are now booking and my schedule is filling up quickly! My calendar opened up on February first and in the past 10 days I've scheduled over 30 seniors for this coming summer/fall. That is half of the sessions I'll be taking on this summer and I fully expect to be completely booked within the next couple of months. If you want to set up a session for your current junior in high school who will be entering their senior year this fall, shoot me an email at:[email protected]. I am answering these emails in the order received so it may take a week or so to get back to you, but I promise, I will get back to you asap!
-If you do email me about a senior session, please include this information to streamline the scheduling process:
-School they attend
-How many outfits they would like to be photographed in
-Specific locations in mind for the session. Keep in mind all locations need to be within 30 miles of Pulaski in order to not pay a travel fee.
-If you would like to add on a $175 family mini session as well
-Does the senior play any sports or do any extracurriculars that they want to include in their portraits?
-Is there a month/week/day of the week that is better for your senior. Pickins for a specific time are becoming slim, but I'll do my best to accommodate.
-And speaking of senior photos, my own son is a senior this year and we are experiencing all of those bittersweet 'lasts' over here. Senior night for basketball is this Friday for he and his teammates. He has decided on a college and we are planning his graduation party. His favorite sport (really, our entire family's favorite sport) begins in a month and we are excited to be able to watch Ed and the Pulaski Varsity baseball team travel to FL for spring break games this year. So much exciting stuff and so many tears for his momma.
-Besides all of the senior year chaos, my other two kiddos are involved in many extracurriculars that take up much of my time during this part of the year. My son Bobby also plays basketball, is playing baseball and in the midst of Drivers Ed as he turns 16 in a few months. I can't WAIT to have another driver in the house! And Josephine is in the middle of her 12 year old swim season for the Pulaski Swim Club. She has qualified for Regionals and State already and I'm traveling most weekends with her to swim meets in the area. I am also the VP of the Pulaski Booster club and on the board of directors for the swim club so there is never a dull moment and work sometimes gets put on the backburner during busy weeks. Please know that if you reach out and you don't hear back immediately, there is a good reason. π
-I am still booking child/family portrait sessions for this spring and will be running a business professional headshot special starting in a few weeks. Stay tuned for more info on that!
-I will be out of the office March 26-April 6th and will not be answering emails or responding to calls during that time. It's my son's last spring break before college and I made a promise to myself to be present for my family during that time!
I leave you with this sweet family who was in the studio a few weeks ago. Our sessions are so fun and absolute controlled chaos and I love every second of them!
