Bio Blitz? What's that? This year celebrates the 20th annual Bio Blitz, put together by Whistler Naturalists, a group of naturalists/scientists descend on the Whistler region to find and count as many plants, animals, and fungi as possible in the Whistler area. The multi-day program includes school presentations and weekend field surveys. This year we visited Pemberton wetlands, Brandywine Meadows, and Whistler Blackcomb mountains. Here's a little photo essay from the three days:
