I'm missing the beautiful Fall weather on this rainy day! I just love meeting new families and this one was no exception. One thing that I've learned over the years is that no matter the age running always brings out genuine smiles. And these boys are FAST.

During this time of the year I often ask (ahem bribe) my littles to go location scouting with me since things change so much during this season. Isn't this spot just lovely at sunset?

I almost always begin my shoots by asking a little to be a helper so that I can get my camera settings right. 😉 And those shots are almost always my favorites, and this was no exception.

This little boy had so much s***k and was so fun to photograph. Check the comments for the very next frame.🤣

Oh hey!!! I'm putting the finishing touches on this gallery. I always tell my parents that the kiddos are in charge and will set the pace of any session. These kiddos were so much fun. They ran, laughed, loved to push my camera button, had a marshmallow and jelly bean or two, and by the end little Bub was asking me to pick him up. Their parents are pretty fun too. My favorite is the one where the kiddos were supposed to walk together and you can see big sister in the background and she is not amused, ha!!

This little guy is featured on my highly neglected last Instagram post from when he was a newborn. It has been so long that I'm not sure that I even remember how to post to on that channel any longer. 🙄

Oh hey - an actual post from me, ha! I have like 473748 sessions from the past two years that I never shared with you all...maybe one day. 🙂

This baby is so sweet! She wanted to hang out for a good part of the session, but Grandma had the magic touch to get her sleepy. 🙂

I thought a before and after would be fun. I really try to only enhance the photo so that it stays true to real life and stands the test of time vs. using filters, altering the colors, etc. All I did was brighten the photo in Lightroom, particularly on the right side of the photo given where the light source was, and in Photoshop I did some light cloning to fill in the holes on the knit blanket, and touched up the skin and pulled out a little of the pink. What do you think?

I'm taking advantage of some quiet time this morning and am working through this little lady's photos. I think that I captured more smiles from her than any other newborn that I've ever photographed. I'm excited to finish these off and get them to her parents who have been patiently waiting!

When you are born so close to Christmas and the photographer loves the holiday you are bound to get a few Christmas themed images!! Are you all set for the big day? I'm definitely not!
