My daughter Andi Barrido likes axolotls. Instead of buying another plushie, I built an entire fantasy kingdom.

Meet The Stillwater Prince, because apparently giving a salamander royal status felt like the logical next step.

Character design and worldbuilding are my favorite excuses to disappear into my own imagination. Built this in CapCut Video Studio using Director Mode, GPT Image 2, and Seedance 2.0.

I came from a traditional production background, over 20 years thinking in cameras, lights, crews, locations, and long production days. Then a couple of years ago, I fell into the AI rabbit hole, and I’ve been fascinated ever since. Watching the quality evolve at the pace it has has been incredible, what felt impossible not long ago is becoming part of everyday creative workflows.

Now, I’m excited to share that I’ve joined the Content Operations team at CapCut SEA - Philippines, where I’ll be working more closely with the AI creator community.

If you’re creating AI films, micro dramas, ads, animations, or any kind of AI-powered content, I’d love to connect.
