The early part of the second decade of the 21st century was an important point in the history of Bangalore/Bengaluru – our city. It’s the time when the already exponential growth rate went exponentially chaotic. Between 2015 and now, the population and the number of vehicles on the street doubled and equalled each other in numbers. We are experiencing or suffering the result of this thoughtless ‘development’ today. Can the city ever become a better place? I don’t know and I won’t hazard a guess. However, the book I published in 2012 – Bangalore/Bangalore In First Person, is a visual record of the city that was and what it could be. Several thousand copies of this book have been sold over the years. I still have a few hundred books with me. Through this post, I am requesting the help of book loving friends to help me sell the remaining copies. It costs Rs.600/- only (Less than two masala dosas at Blr airport and less than 2 cups of coffee in a multi-national coffee chain). Those of you who wish to purchase Deepavali or New Year’s gifts for your clients – please consider buying copies of this book. I can print your logo on the first page if you purchase multiple copies…
