A few years ago, I photographed this sucker melting on a sidewalk on an early summer day. I later emphasized the colors of the melting sucker and blurred the background in order to emphasize the sucker's slow but sure ending.

I photographed this trash barrel this morning while doing a photo walk through the Raccoon River Regional Park in West Des Moines, Iowa USA. I couldn't help but note how the stains on the white sleeve seemed to harmonize with the rust on the trash barrel. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

I then combined them using high-dynamic range software in order to bring out the texture of the scene and the atmosphere of early spring. Please let me know your thoughts about this image. Thanks.
