Did you already find an apparently wonderful pack of Lightroom presets, but once uploaded to your Adobe Lightroom and applied, it doesn’t work so great? Photographers who keep buying new and newer presets run into the “drama” of a continuos change of their post-production process. This way, they never reach a style that can be called “distinguishable” and distinctiveness is a must for every photog

rapher who wants to be successful. I’m well aware of this problem and I worked hard to provide the ultimate solution to it. Applicability and artistry can get married in the Lario Lightroom Presets project: these presets are built to help, instead of “to change”. My presets always work because they fully use the information contained in the raw file at its best, keeping a good contrast without losing the readability of light and shadows. I said that my Lario presets “don’t change”. By that, I mean they don’t try to be different by introducing contrasts difficult to manage nor they offer colour shifts that are only good for the style and the kind of light in which the presets’ author usually works. Now, let me tell you more about my experience with my own Lightroom presets. I started projecting them in 2014 but the final version only came out as of 2018. I spent hundreds of hours testing the settings over and over again on images which had the most different lighting conditions and the most difficult contrasts. I have been comparing different outcomes, correcting and mixing for four years. Once I found the prime mixture of settings, I dedicated myself to experiment new little tweaks and create variants until 2020.
