Yesterday, we said goodbye to a woman who was more than a mother to her children — she was a mother to all of us. Her love, kindness, and warm heart made everyone around her feel welcomed and cared for, and that is why this loss hurts so deeply.
Last Sunday, during service, I looked toward the particular spot where she would normally sit, and she wasn’t there. In that moment, the emptiness became real. Her absence was deeply felt, and it reminded me how much of a light she truly was to everyone around her.
Mama lived a life of love, care, and impact. She touched so many hearts, and her memories will remain with us forever.
Rest well, Mama. You will always be remembered and greatly missed.
