A wedding in Hội An. A boat ride down the Thu Bồn river. 50 guests from around the world. And a ceremony at golden hour under the palms at Red Bridge.
This is what happens when people choose Vietnam for the most important day of their lives — the place does half the work.
I was there for all of it. The getting-ready chaos in the hotel room. The procession through the Old Town alleys. The laughter on the boat. The vows.
If you’re planning a destination wedding in Vietnam and want someone who actually lives here — let’s talk. Link in bio.

I just photographed my first wedding in Vietnam and I can’t ask for a better experience. The family, the children running, the blooming flowers, the tropical landscape. When you stop planning and just let moments happen, that’s when the magic comes. This is exactly why I do what I do. Thank you so much for trusting me to capture these special moments. I can’t wait for the next one

Early mornings on the river in Hoi An — fishermen, wooden boats, and the quiet routine of people who’ve been living off this water their whole lives.

This is one of the spots I take photographers to in Hoi An.
Late afternoon light. Real life.

She repairs fishing nets every day on the river.
The light lasts maybe 10 minutes.

I just shared the full photo series on my feed.
Go take a look.

If you’re into documentary and real moments, this is the kind of scene we look for.

DM me if you want to join the next photo walk

Sunset on the Thu Bon River in Hoi An.
A woman sits by the water repairing fishing nets after a long day. The light is soft and golden, reflecting on the river. Her vitiligo is visible on her skin, part of who she is. This is daily life here.

I met him by chance.
He showed me his world.

I made a full photo story about it.
You can see it on my profile.

I met him by chance.
He invited me to his boat to show me how he works.

He was laughing all the time.

He has been fishing the same way his family has done for generations. No machines. Just tradition.

This is the kind of human heritage that is important to keep.

What I love most about taking these photos
is meeting humble, kind people who are truly happy with what they do.

In her mouth:

She’s chewing trầu cau.

A traditional Vietnamese mixture made of betel leaf, areca nut and lime.
For generations, it has been offered at weddings and ceremonies as a symbol of love, respect and unity.

Traditions that survive through everyday life.

Swipe to the last photo.
That one is my favorite ❤️
