Sahl Abdelrahman (Sahl Abdelrahman) is an Egyptian documentary photographer from El Fayoum whose work explores the realities of everyday life across Egypt. His photography focuses on stories of childhood, child labor, and irregular migration, documenting moments with honesty, empathy, and a deep respect for the people and communities he photographs.

Having studied photojournalism at the Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX), Sahl’s work has been published by international publications including The Guardian, The New York Times, Middle East Eye, EPA, and National Geographic. In 2023, he was awarded the Ian Parry Scholarship and has since received numerous accolades, including recognition at the 79th College Photographer of the Year and Egypt Press Photo.

These photographs were made along Egypt’s southern Red Sea coast using the Fujifilm X-T4 paired with the XF23mm lens. The lightweight system allowed Sahl to move freely through different environments while remaining present with the stories unfolding in front of him, capturing authentic moments with clarity and intention.

Judite () is a portrait photographer whose work is centered on human connection, trust, and the stories that exist beneath the surface. She believes the most meaningful photographs come from genuine encounters, where emotion is not directed but allowed to emerge naturally.

Photographing across Oman, Judite focuses on capturing people as they are, present, authentic, and fully themselves. Her approach prioritizes understanding and connection before the camera is ever raised, creating images that reflect personality, emotion, and the individuality of each subject. Through her photography, she aims to celebrate authenticity, vulnerability, and the moments that reveal something true about a person.

Recently adopting the Fujifilm X-T5 paired with the XF 16-50mm lens, Judite has embraced a more intimate and flexible way of working. The compact yet capable system allows her to explore different perspectives and environments while maintaining a natural connection with her subjects. Her images often begin with Fujifilm’s Provia/Standard film simulation and require only minimal editing to achieve her desired look.

Tom Mason (.photo) is a photographer and educator capturing everyday moments through street, travel, and documentary-style imagery.

Based in Dubai, his work focuses on human connection, atmosphere, and storytelling, often finding emotion in quiet interactions, layered compositions, and fleeting moments that others might overlook. Drawing inspiration from the streets of Old Dubai, travel experiences, and everyday life, Tom approaches photography with a calm and observational style, creating images that feel cinematic, immersive, and authentic. His photography balances simplicity with narrative, often using light, reflections, colour, and motion to create images that invite viewers to slow down and look closer.

To capture these moments, Tom relies primarily on the Fujifilm X-T4 and X100V, paired with the XF 33mm f/1.4 and XF 16-80mm f/4 lenses. His editing style leans towards warm cinematic tones, subtle contrast, and film-inspired aesthetics, often beginning with Fujifilm film simulations such as Eterna and Classic Chrome as a creative base. The result is a body of work that blends documentary storytelling with a personal visual style, where each frame aims to capture feeling as much as the scene itself.

Scenes from Venice, Italy

Dubai-based photographer Ismail Noor () recently travelled to the 2026 Venice Biennale (), capturing observations and passing scenes from across Venice beyond the exhibitions themselves using the new Fujifilm X-E5. Known for his work in art documentation, architecture, and interiors, Ismail’s photographs reflect an attentiveness to space, atmosphere, and the subtle rhythms of the city.

Coming from an advertising background, photography first began as curiosity before becoming something more defining. Today, Ismail regularly works with institutions such as the National Pavilion UAE, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Cultural Foundation, and Alserkal Avenue, alongside regional and international artists, while continuing his full-time role with Dubai-based creative agency Seeing Things ().
