Returning to Ninh Binh, a place we have long considered our second home, we felt an even deeper connection when we learned that Khoi had chosen his hometown as the place to celebrate such an important day for his family.
What made this wedding even more special was the timing. During our time at Thung Nham, it was the season when the birds were busy finding food, raising their young, and returning to their nests at the end of the day. By coincidence, this was also the exact time when Khoi and Hoai were having their outdoor wedding ceremony.
As the engagement ceremony came to an end, Hoai suddenly pointed towards the birds flying back to their nests. We looked in the same direction and noticed something truly beautiful: the birds were flying towards the very place where their wedding ceremony was taking place.
It was a small and unexpected moment, but it reminded us that sometimes, the most beautiful things at a wedding do not need to be planned. They simply happen, at the right time and in the right place, like a natural blessing for a new family, bringing together everyone they love in this special and sacred time of the year.
