During our last checkup, the nurses discovered that our little one’s umbilical cord was a bit twisted. In order to reduce the possibility of complications further into the pregnancy, we have decided to have a c-section instead of a natural birth. This is not what we had planned for, but we want to be safe. That said, little Aiden will be joining us in just two weeks!! We can’t wait to meet him! ❤️

The landscapes in Vietnam are incredibly diverse; the most surprising of which are the sand dunes of Mũi Né. It is shocking to see such a dry area in what is otherwise a very wet country.

It was honestly so hard to leave Pù Luông. We ended up staying an extra day because I was enjoying it so much. We contemplated staying just one more day but realized we couldn’t escape reality forever. So, we’re back in Hà Nội now, dodging traffic and cooking our own food.
