Shooting a pre-wedding with a film camera is a nostalgic and distinct choice. The frames feature natural colors that no color grading can truly replicate, while the film grain creates a soft, gentle feel—making time seem to slow down.

We often time the session for beautiful light at sunset or early morning, so every detail comes through realistically. The sound of the shutter click, the hands-on process of loading and handling the film, and the anticipation of seeing the photos afterward make the experience even more enjoyable. The results may not be “perfect” in a modern, tech-driven way, but they have soul and their own unique story.

Giang and Cong went through their time getting to know each other with sincerity and patience. "With Nhi: Nick is always “home.”

The wedding of Nhi and Nick took place in a warm, intimate atmosphere—just like their love. They had known each other for five years, from their first conversations to the day they officially became one household—a truly memorable journey. Nick traveled more than 13,000 kilometers from the United States to Vietnam with his family, just to be there for the moment when Nhi put on her wedding dress and officially turned the page to a new chapter.

The entire ceremony was filled with joy alongside family, relatives, and friends. For Nhi, being surrounded by her family after a long time living far away was an incredibly special feeling. Tears of happiness, sincere blessings, and the tightest hugs—everyone was overwhelmed with emotion. For Nick’s family, Vietnamese traditional wedding rituals were both unfamiliar and captivating. They immersed themselves in the experience, attentively took part, and quickly began to understand. And in the end, Nick and his family truly enjoyed every moment in Vietnam—for its culture and its people alike.

T&B’s pre-wedding shoot is gentle and serene amid the fresh green of the lawn under clear sunshine. They chose a simple yet refined style: Thao wears a white dress with minimalist details, while Binh looks dapper in a well-fitted suit.

We made use of the early morning light to create shimmering rays. Natural interactions — reverent glances, a tight handhold, slow steps — were captured in minimalist compositions, placing emotion at the center rather than ornate props. The soft color palette, warm light, and open space make each frame both elegant and deeply romantic, like a delicate overture to their shared journey ahead.

These four years have taken us on an exciting journey filled with both happy moments and challenges, tears and laughter, late nights and early morning calls. We have had the privilege of meeting extraordinary people, witnessing immense love, traveling to unforgettable places, and cherishing moments that have changed us forever.

Looking back… four years truly feels short, yet it has shaped a Messy as it is today. It was a necessary period to acknowledge the quiet growth—not just as individuals, but as a collective, partners in both life and work.
