I can't believe it's been a month since we moved from our home and business in Cameron. I would like to say we are settled in but we are still waiting on carpet while furniture is piled in the garage and we are digging through boxes to find things.

A big Thank You to all our family and friends who helped with the monumental task of moving out of a cabin, home, and business in a very short time. The goodbye party was amazing - so much fun!!

The hardest part was finding homes for all the photography equipment, photos, frames, and props. I was so happy so many people stopped by to pick up stuff, and it was great to be able to say goodbye. I wish I could have personally contacted every person who had photos or albums, but unfortunately I didn't have the time or resources. My computer retired before me, wiping out all my customer records.

The downside of moving to another state is that you can't take your landline numbers with, and in my case, with Mosaic I couldn't take my email either. So the best way to reach me is Facebook. I have had several requests for the digital files, which I SHOULD have. Should is in caps because hard drives fail. I have digital files starting in 2008 to present, so message me on Facebook. Know that I don't check it every day though so please be patient.

The best part of living here is being so close to my family. I am able to watch so many games of the grand kids and help on a short notice. Plus, I wake up to this view every day.

I miss the business but I am not giving up photography. What's that saying, 'if you do what you love you will never work
a day in your life'? That was so true for me. It's been an amazing 30 years. So many customers have become like family to me.

FREE DISPLAY WALL PORTRAITS

Studio is closing and we are moving to Minnesota on August 10th

I can't bring myself to throw photographs away especially wall portraits.

Unfortunately I have approximately a hundred that will go into the dumpster because I can't store them.

These are the times and dates they can be picked up.

Today August 2nd after4 or Thursday Aug 4th 11am till 7pm or Friday August 5th
from 4 to 6 pm

No need to call if you are coming at any of these times.

Please let friends and family know if you recognize their portraits, many are not on face book. Please share this post.

Live in paradise and work from home.

Tucked back on the end of a dead-end road, this secluded and newly renovated home with attached photography studio could be the next step in your photography journey.

The photography studio includes a main shooting room with a private bathroom, prop storage room, and changing room. The shooting room is 40 x 20 ft. and is set up with lighting, backgrounds, and props. Just bring your camera!

Right off the studio is a large 18x20 reception area. This has a separate entrance from the main area of the home and is the perfect space to welcome customers, display your work, and book follow-up appointments.

There is also a large basement off of these two rooms. At 20x12 ft, this production room is already set to process completed orders and frame finished portraits.

The house itself has been recently renovated with a beautiful interior, plush new carpet upstairs, and stylish living spaces. Perfect for growing families and enjoying the beautiful views year-round.

Outside you will find an outdoor photography park and pond with numerous places to capture amazing images. The spots for outdoor photography are endless. And did we mention the aboveground pool with no-maintenance decking?

Because we’re retiring and moving out of state, we are willing to work with anyone purchasing the home business as a photography studio. We will include the inventory of all props and backgrounds in the sale of the house.

The home is only 7 minutes from the much sought-after Cameron School system and only 10 minutes from beautiful Rice Lake. Your customers benefit from the convenient location while you maintain privacy in your at-home business.

We are selling our cabin!! So many priceless memories were made there. It will be very hard to leave it , but we will be moving to Minnesota to be closer to our children. We are very excited to start a new chapter in our life, and being so close to our children, grand children and new great grand daughter will be the perfect way to retire.
