It’s not lost on me how, lately, life has felt like something bigger gently brushing up against the everyday, almost like magic woven into ordinary moments.
In the beginning, there was a lot of doubt. I stepped away from my family photography business, not because it was easy, but because something in me kept pulling toward the music scene. It felt alive there, like I could breathe deeper. Everything in me said this wasn’t seasonal, it was something to fully step into.
And then, in the most unexpected way, things started to shift. My name came up in a conversation at a guitar shop, just a passing moment, and it led to a musician looking for PR.
That’s the thing about dreams, they have a way of finding their path when you stay open and keep moving forward.
Almost overnight, doors opened. I found myself working with incredible artists and organizations, standing at the edge of something I used to only picture in quiet moments. Mountains, music, people fully present, singing, dancing, connected. No distractions, just energy and joy moving through a crowd.
It felt like stepping into a place I had always belonged but hadn’t reached yet.
I share this not to say “look what happened,” but to remind anyone who might need it, change is possible. Dreams aren’t reserved for a select few. They ask something of you, courage, trust, a willingness to walk into the unknown.
But when you do, something meets you there.
And sometimes, it’s even better than you imagined.
Pictures of The Contagious Blues Band, super thrilled to be working with them.
