Paw Alert! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿป

The picture was taken during the Summer at Great Smoky Mountains National Park, TN. This was my first wildlife trip trying to capture a black bear in an American National Park. About my endeavour here I wanted to word the story attached to this picture.

During the memorial day weekend me and my partner was hiking through the Caden Cove loop with our cameras with high hopes of seeing a bear. Close to the first bypass road the rangers notified us that there is a female bear roaming around might be quite violent as she recently had cubs. In less than 10 minutes we could see her running around munching on the secateurs. With a hightened energy and excitement I immediately sat on the ground started capturing the bear. But my partner was not in a big hurry and obviously was a better bear spotter than I was told me the cubs should be very much close by the mother and for sure should be hiding and playing in the trees. Unlike in other habitats Iโ€™ve seen before, the woods here were pretty dense, trees were quite tall and I didnโ€™t have much faith in seeing a cub. Luckily I was wrong. My partner spotted the cubs in the next couple of minutes and started moving. Like he just had mentioned cubs actually were playing on the tree trunks. Their speed of climbing up those tall trees were truly remarkable. It was rather difficult to capture and my speed in wild animal photography was aggressively tested that day. From the few good pictures I could manage to capture I particularly enjoyed this one. By the end of the trip we spotted 18 bears including 2 sets of cubs. I am super excited to edit and share more during the holidays ! ๐Ÿƒ
