Sema was a great event. But not as much of a croud as it’s had in the past for working attendees. This used to be a trade only event. Automotive magazine media covered it as hawks. Then the group running the event opened it to social internet and influencers… ran the last day of the event as a car show. Buy a ticket and get into the show. Now it is one of the, if not the biggeat car shows in the country. Just buy a ticket for the show…. No longer an industry only show, and old media that covered it for years are no longer allowed. If we are not internet influencers, we are nothing…. What a loss for the automotive world and community. Wonder who will do the work and replace? Number’s for show attendants are up but purchase contracts are at the lowest ever…
