Class of 2027, it’s your turn!

Senior portraits should be about so much more than simply taking a few pretty pictures. My goal is to create a session that feels completely like you and reflects your personality, style, interests and everything that makes your senior year unique. With years of experience photographing seniors, I love helping plan every detail and bringing creative ideas to life. And no idea is too different or too crazy. I’m always up for creating something unique!

My Class of 2027 senior portrait calendar is officially open and sessions are starting to book. Yuma Catholic seniors do have a yearbook deadline, but no matter which school you attend, I highly recommend reserving your session early. Booking ahead gives you the best selection of dates and plenty of time to thoughtfully plan your session, photograph it and have your final images professionally edited and ready when you need them.

Reserve your senior portrait session by September 15 and choose one exclusive Early Booking Bonus:

• Two additional digital images from your Senior Portrait Session
OR
• A complimentary Spring Cap & Gown Studio Session including two digital images

The Early Booking Bonus ends September 15, so if senior pictures are on your list, now is the time to get your session on the calendar.

Class of 2027, let’s create something that is completely you.

Happy World Photography Day!

Photography has been one of the greatest loves of my life, and I still feel incredibly lucky that I get to do what I love for a living.

There’s something pretty amazing about knowing that the images I create will still be around decades from now. Maybe even 100 years from now, someone will be looking back at them.

I love getting to create something that becomes a little piece of someone’s history. I truly can’t imagine doing anything else.

Your headshot is often the first introduction people have to you and your business. Before they visit your website, send an email, or pick up the phone, they have already formed a first impression.

If your current headshot no longer looks like you, or no longer reflects where you are in your career, it may be time for an update.

One of the things I hear most often is, “I’m awkward in front of the camera.” The truth is, you do not have to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. That is my job. From wardrobe guidance to posing and expression, I will guide you through every step so you can relax, feel confident, and leave with portraits that truly represent who you are.

If you’ve been putting off updating your headshot, I’d love to help.

Send me a message or visit the link in my bio to book your session.

A huge thank you to my longtime client and friend, Jane, for trusting me with another special project, portraits of her precious grandson . I’ve had the privilege of photographing so many milestones for her family over the years, including her children’s senior portraits (even Atlas’s dad!), so this session was especially meaningful.

Jane is an incredibly talented artist in her own right, and I am always in awe of the creativity she brings to every project. She curated this entire Toy Story-inspired session, transforming part of her home into the world of Toy Story through her artistic vision, handcrafted details, and creative direction. I always love collaborating with her because she dreams up amazing ideas, and together we’re able to bring them to life.

These days, my business is primarily focused on high school seniors, headshots, and commercial photography, so it’s been a long time since I’ve photographed a toddler by themselves. Thankfully, Atlas made my job easy! He was such a sweet, charming little guy and truly the perfect model for this session. He kept us smiling from beginning to end. I also wanna give a huge shout out to Jessica, Atlas‘s other grandma and his dad for providing so much needing wrangling, light holding, prop adjusting, and all the other things we needed to keep the session moving.

One of my favorite parts of this project was seeing it come to life in print. Jane ordered three custom-designed 12×12 leather albums that I designed and had professionally printed through my professional lab . They’re beautiful heirloom keepsakes that will be treasured for years to come, and I especially love that one will be a surprise gift for Atlas’s mom.

Here is a behind-the-scenes video of the set and one of the finished albums. Also, some of my most favorite images we got during the session.

Thank you again, Jane, for another wonderful collaboration. I can’t wait to see what we dream up together next!

A huge congratulations to Catie on graduating from Solvay High School today!

Last summer, I had the opportunity to travel back to my hometown in Upstate New York to photograph Catie’s senior portraits right before she started her senior year. Being able to capture this milestone was especially meaningful because Catie is my cousin’s daughter. It was truly such an honor to document this special season of her life.

We started at Solvay High School to incorporate her love of cheerleading and then headed to the Butterfly Garden of Hope for the second half of her session, where we were treated to the most incredible sunset over the lake. Her session was so fun and I also got the chance to take some family portraits of her with her parents and sister.

Congratulations, Catie! I can’t wait to see what your future has in store for you. I know your future is bright and filled with many amazing accomplishments ahead.

Congratulations to Garnet on her 8th grade graduation!

I had the chance to photograph her to celebrate this milestone, and we had such a great session. We headed out to the Foothills because she wanted the mountains and beautiful trees as the backdrop, and they were the perfect fit for her vision. We were treated to an amazing sunset, and every outfit she chose worked so well with the location. I especially loved her flowy blue dress. It photographed so nicely against the desert scenery.

I photograph a lot of high school seniors, but graduation portraits are not limited to high school. I also love photographing 8th grade promotions, college graduates and other educational milestones. And of course, some of life’s biggest moments are not tied to school at all. Birthdays, personal achievements, and special celebrations all deserve to be documented and remembered.

If you have a graduation or another special milestone coming up, I would love to help create a session that is personalized just for you.

Today is graduation day for the Class of 2026 and I wanted to take a moment to congratulate all of the seniors, especially the amazing seniors who trusted me to capture such an important season of their lives.

Brandon is truly such a fun kid and his senior session was one to remember. He came in with so many creative ideas and I am so glad we were able to bring all of them to life. We started his session in downtown Yuma, spent some time at a private baseball field, and of course had to include In-N-Out Burger where he works. Every part of his session reflected his personality perfectly.

Brandon is graduating from Yuma Catholic High School today, and I know his determination, work ethic, and outgoing personality will take him far in whatever comes next. Congratulations, Brandon, and congratulations to the entire Class of 2026!

Graduation day is finally here, and I wanted to share a few last seniors I had the chance to photograph this year. I already shared Logan’s twin brother Carter, and now it is Logan’s turn!

Logan is a Class of 2026 senior from Gila Ridge High School. He is such an amazing kid and wanted to incorporate some of the things he loves most into his session, including Mario Kart and chess. We took some photos in the studio, around downtown Yuma, and finished at West Wetlands Park. It was such a great time working with him and creating a session that really reflected his personality.

Logan, congratulations on your graduation! I wish you nothing but the best in this next chapter of your life and know you are going to do amazing things in the future.

Graduation week is finally here for the Class of 2026, and I wanted to take some time to highlight a few of the amazing seniors I had the chance to photograph this year.

Allyson is a Class of 2026 graduate from Cibola High School. I first met her while photographing the incredibly talented dancers of Yuma Ballet Academy and also had the chance to watch her perform in productions of The Nutcracker. She is such a talented dancer and truly shines both on stage and in front of the camera.

I am sharing a few images from Allyson’s senior session along with a couple from when I photographed her at Yuma Ballet Academy. Her senior session was such a great time. We started downtown and then headed out to the desert to finish the session with the most incredible sunset. She is truly a joy to photograph.

As Allyson heads off to college and begins this next chapter, I wish her nothing but the very best in her future. I know she is going to accomplish amazing things and go very far in whatever path she chooses.

Graduation is right around the corner, and I wanted to take a moment to celebrate some of the Class of 2026 seniors I had the opportunity to photograph this year.

Carter is a Class of 2026 graduate from Gila Ridge High School. Over the years, I have had the chance to photograph both of his older sisters, and this year I also photographed his twin brother, so getting to photograph Carter as well was really special. We started with some studio portraits and then headed around downtown Yuma for the rest of his session.

I truly enjoyed capturing this exciting season of life for him, and I wish him nothing but success in everything ahead. Congratulations, Carter!
