👋🏽. It's been awhile. Finally mustering up the courage to make this long post after what feels like ages. Stepping away from social media was long overdue. Huge shoutout to those who checked in on me during this time. Your support means the world. 🥹 Here's what's been going on since my last update:

🌿 Spent 7 weeks completely overwhelmed studying for the nursing entrance exam 😵‍💫🫠
🌿 Started therapy after years of contemplating
🌿 Teaching myself the art of making macarons. I'm on my 7th unsuccessful batch 😂
🌿 Crossed my fingers and applied to nursing school 🤞🏽
🌿 Cheered on Mariana's team at multiple cheer competitions in Phx. 🖤💛 We'll be heading to Vegas this weekend for her last competition of the season 📣
🌿 Survived a 4.5-hour nursing entrance exam and passed with a cumulative score of 94 🥹🙌🏽
🌿 Took a road trip to 29 Palms with the kids for some much-needed family time, and explored Joshua Tree while we were there.
🌿 Currently slacking on my 16-week workout program 🫠
🌿 Sent our littlest one off to preschool 💚
🌿 Ended up getting lost while attempting to hike Telegraph Pass. Turns out, finding the right trail there was harder than I thought! 😂
🌿 If you spot a lady slowly rollerskating & screaming like she's going 10 mph, just mind yo biz 😂
🌿 Received the exciting news of my acceptance into NAU's fall cohort cBSN program 🙌🏽🎉

This space has been my outlet, so it was difficult to step back to self-reflect and focus on other goals.

It weighs heavily on my heart to take a backseat with photography to give my all with school and family. Grateful for every one of you who have been on this beautiful journey with me.

I may post a couple of model calls and discounted sessions throughout the year. When those times come, I'll announce availability in my stories. 💓

Funfact! I started my nursing pre-reqs in 2018, 2 years after I graduated with my bachelors degree in psychology, which I never used. 💀😭 We moved to Japan, so I put that on hold. Although I feel like I’m progressing incredibly slow, all my small wins this year are steps closer to where I want to be. 🥹

So, calling all nurses and nursing students! I'd love to hear all the tips and advice for this exciting new chapter. I'm def going to need it! 💟✨️

With Thanksgiving coming up tomorrow, I just wanted to get on here early to tell you how grateful I am for all of you.

"We're so awkward." I've heard it too many times. Most of my clients don't know what to do, and you shouldn't because you're not a model and probably for the better because all photographers have their own workflow.

I may give you the basic do's and dont's in the beginning. As long as you're open-minded to my ideas and prompts, and you show up ready to be playful and love on each other, it'll turn out ahhhmazing. And if your personalities shine through, the better your images will be!
