This sweet family recently received the heartbreaking news that their good boy, Dexter, was sick — news no dog parent ever wants to hear. I’m so honored they trusted me to capture one last family photo with their boy by their side.

These photos are more than just pictures. They’re a reminder of the years of love, the countless memories, and the special place Dexter will always hold in their family.🐾🤍

It truly feels unreal to be writing a post about how this sweet girl is a senior. We were reminiscing during her shoot about how I became her teacher. She wasn't just a name on my roster. She was a kid in the hallway. We laugh about it now but I used to pass her in the hallway daily because she was "talking too much," so I poked my head in and asked her teacher if she could come with me. Everyday she'd come with me after my lunch and she'd help with yearbook. The next year I had her for yearbook & social studies. Fast forward over the years I've hired her to work my wedding, Easter Bunny 2x, and she helped at the baby shower. She's a part of our family. We love our Maleyah!💙 she is driven, smart and so so so kind. She would do anything for the people she loves. She works so hard and doesn't let "no" stop her from achieving her dreams. I cannot wait to see where this sweet girl goes in her future, she's going to do amazing things! She is also an incredible photographer and I have LOVED to follow along with her journey!! Seriously, wow, senior year is here.
