PSA: I just want to say that I’m closed for accepting any future photo work until my health improves. I took a major hit recently when I fell on my right knee, resulting in a fracture to my femur bone near my right knee cap! Thanks for being understanding!

After recently experiencing an unfortunate incident regarding how I conduct my photo business, I felt that it was necessary to create this post! Please read my entire post!

** I wanted to add some additional information on my page here about how my photography business is operated. **

Although my phone number is listed on my page and is visible for all to see, this doesn't mean that I conduct any photo business either by text messages or over the phone! My phone number is only listed as a means for a "potential" client to call me and schedule an appointment with me during the specified times listed.

❗️This does not mean that a person can text me and ask for a photo quote over the phone or by text! This is NOT how I do business!❗️

‼️ I am adamant about having an initial "face-to-face" meeting with any potential client! ‼️ During the "face-to-face" meeting is when the type of photography work that is desired will be discussed, along with the pricing structure - not before! If a person cannot respect the way I conduct my photo business, then please don't waste my time!

Got a question for anyone out there in FB land! I just got a random notification on my FB messenger area this morning on my FB photo page called “J. Duncan Photography” advising me that my page was scheduled for deletion because I had “allegedly” violated one of Meta or FB so called “guidelines” of posting something that went against their rules!

I find this really confusing & interesting since I’ve not posted anything on my page in a really long time! In fact, I’ve hardly posted anything on my personal FB page either in a long time! Their message provided a link to where I could leave my message as to why they’re making a mistake & wanted me to supply some info about my DOB, phone number, name, email address & password for said email. 🤷‍♀️ Hmm… and they also wanted me to post a photo of my driver’s license as well. Mind you I didn’t show a copy of my driver’s license or give them my password either. I’ve changed it so many times I can’t remember!

Now can someone please tell me if this sounds like a scam or some kind of weird attempt to get ahold of my private information? And for what reason? 🤷‍♀️
I’d really like to get some feedback from y’all! And not to mention that Meta & IG have recently made my life miserable recently in the past 7 months or so for the very same reasons! 😡. Thanks in advance! 😊

Jennie Duncan - expert in People - is sharing some inspiration on YouPic. Although I freelance as a "portrait photographer" I like to take photos of anything that catches my eye! That can be anything as long as I think it's got a "photographic" quality!

So I did this thing on Friday.....

I finally found a place that will take all the pull tabs that I had been saving for years. I'll be saving pull tabs for them from now on! Felt really good to do this during all this insane COVID-19 craziness that has caused so much much stress, depression & anxiety around us! 😊
