5 years of telling their story 📷📖

from their engagement photos, to their wedding day, maternity, and now documenting their first year of parenthood with their sweet girl… all on the same family ranch where so many of their memories have unfolded.

one of the most sentimental parts for me was taking photos by this tree again in their parents backyard. the same tree where they shared their first look on their wedding day, and now with their daughter in their arms. 🥹

there’s something so special about being invited back into people’s lives over and over again. watching love grow up into a family. watching places hold memories through every season.

and one day, their children will be able to look back at these photos from long before they were even born. to see their mom and dad young, wildly in love, building the life that would eventually become theirs.

truly one of the greatest honors of this job. 🤍

lightning striking el captain ⚡️a once in a lifetime capture!!

i had NO idea i captured the lightning like this until i was culling through the photos later… my mouth literally dropped!

max had booked me and planned this proposal with me for 8 months… coming all the way from Germany, watching the weather, but fully committed to making this special moment happen, rain or shine.

he proposed at tunnel view in the pouring rain, thunder rolling through the valley, completely soaked… and she was absolutely shocked in the best way 🥹

and later, as we made our way through the valley, the storm kept putting on a show… lightning striking el cap in the distance, the kind of magic you can’t plan, only witness. ⛈️

we leaned into it, dancing in the rain, soaked and laughing, fully in the moment.

an unreal proposal, an even better love story. 🤍

this is your reminder that i will show up no matter what to help make moments like this happen. and honestly… leaning into the weather like this is where the magic lives, and can create the most unforgettable moments.

love, like wildflowers 🌼

tis the season for blooms in the valley! it’s always my favorite, and somehow it came and went so fast this year.
so happy we caught a little bit of what was left.

had the best time frolicking around with brittany + cody last weekend!

my spring calendar has been filling up so fast, i’ve already had to turn away quite a few inquiries 😭
if you’ve been thinking about booking, please reach out now! 💛

spring blossoms in the valley, a picnic blanket in the orchards, & quiet sunset settling over the vineyards. 🌸

the kind of evening that feels like it belongs in a romance film. 🎥

i’ve always loved turning love stories into the main characters of their own little movie. and getting creative behind the camera again after maternity leave made this one feel extra special.

thank you lindsay + connor for trusting me with your story and for being so open to the creative ideas. this was such a lovely way to step back into creating again.

my little family + a milestone weekend 🤍
today marks my first shoot back after maternity leave, and tomorrow’s my 35th birthday! 🥹

the timing feels tender and exciting all at once. i’ve been living in the quiet, cozy newborn bubble, documenting these slow in-between moments at home with a tripod and a sleepy baby in my arms. the kind of days that feel soft, fleeting, and impossible to fully hold onto.

and somewhere in the middle of it all, we’ve been watching our hearts stretch in ways we didn’t know they could. learning how to love another baby while watching our toddler step into his new role has been one of the most emotional, beautiful parts of this season. seeing his love for her unfold in real time feels like witnessing magic.

i already know i’ll miss these newborn days deeply. the contact naps, the milk drunk smiles, the stillness that only exists for a little while. but also… your girl’s gotta pay the bills 😂

stepping back into work feels like coming home to another part of myself. this year feels like rediscovering me while learning to balance life as a mama of two, and i’m walking into it with so much gratitude and excitement.

i’m so excited for the shoots ahead, the stories i get to tell, and all the creative projects i’ve been dreaming up during late night feeds. plus i have some new gear and little creative toys i cannot wait to play with and bring into sessions ✨

here’s to honoring the slow season while stepping into the next one with gratitude, creativity, and a very full heart. 🤍

a quiet spring morning after eloping in yosemite, soft light through the trees, the sound of the river beside us, with no rush and no big agenda.

i love to plan sessions around light and feeling first. sometimes tucked-away riverbanks photograph best in the morning, long before the iconic viewpoints wake up.

this is something i help my elopement couples create. years of experience in yosemite means knowing when to go, where to slow down, and how to find quiet moments like this.

motorcycle ride, a quiet pit stop, and a night we didn’t want to end. ❤️‍🔥

this is the reminder i love giving couples when they’re planning their session. your photos don’t have to happen somewhere big to feel meaningful. or have fancy outfits to feel special.

sometimes the most memorable images come from choosing an experience instead. movement. pauses. places you’d actually stop, in outfits you’d actually wear if no camera was there. and moments that unfold after the light fades and everything slows down.

the best engagement sessions feel less about where you are, and more about how it felt to be together in that moment. 🤝

this session with thomas and natalija is one i’ll never forget. it was the kind of night that lingered long after it ended and fueled my nostalgic soul in the best way.

their wedding is tomorrow — but last weekend, they shared a quiet first look in Yosemite. No timeline pressure, no guests waiting — just the two of them, full present. bridal portraits without the rush, and a moment they’ll never forget.

Glacier Point welcomed us as one of its first visitors this season, and we soaked it all in. It still amazes me that this kind of magic lives right here in our backyard.
