We took full advantage of our National Park pass! This is Glacier National Park in Montana. The area had been hit hard by a huge fire a few years ago which made for a surreal hike through dead wood.

Excited to be back in the states so soon. I'm going to be camping out for the next couple weeks trying to capture the beauty of some of America's greatest National Parks - wish me luck!

Something really cool about Japan - the way they design the top surface of manhole covers. Sometimes just with different engravings, sometimes like this one, they are painted. Each city has their own designs and sometime it's different from suburb to suburb too. Oh so photogenic!
