This past year has made interaction with others quite difficult. But with technology, interaction is much easier. ARTECHOUSE really pushes the boundaries of art and technological interaction. Going to see this place during the downward slope of the viral outbreak has been so incredible. And to share this experience with Hannah was so special.

In these photos you can see the use of her phone showing the two of us standing as digital figures. In the second shot she waves her hand as it makes the tall grass blow as if her hand was the source of wind within the frame.

Hello everyone! I'm "posing" infront of the camera for once!

You've seen some of my work so far, but who am I really? Well, I'm a full time Respiratory Therapist and part time photographer. I'm striving to get advanced credentials which is putting a hold on the photography business. But it is coming! I enjoy having work to do, a strive to get up everyday and crush it. Whether that's being at the hospital or behind the camera. I put you first and love every moment of it.

I started young as a hobby photographer but was always afraid to share my work or shoot other people. Growing up as an introvert made that nearly impossible. But in college that quickly changed and so too did my strive for something more than just hobby photography. I get the greatest joy making you feel your best infront of the camera. Next to telling dad jokes.

I love adventure, this shot was in an ice cave in Iceland. Shot by Ryan while travel with a group of friends.

And here it is! The photo I was so honored to take. A photo of just some of our Respiratory Care staff at Wellspan York Hospital. I'm so proud to call everyone my coworkers, friends, and work family. This has been one of the hardest years at a Healthcare provider, but to step into the new year with an Apex award makes it worth the hard work.

Only 14 Acute Care Hospitals received this award in the nation. Did you know that there are a total of 6,090 hospitals nation wide?! I have included an excerpt from the AARC that illustrates what this award is recognizing in our field.

'The AARC Apex Recognition Award was developed in 2017 as a way to recognize respiratory care departments that exhibit high quality patient care. “Respiratory care departments everywhere are coming off a hard year. Their skills and stamina have been tested like never before. As a vital component to a patient’s care team, respiratory therapists work hard each day to deliver quality patient care,” said Sheri Tooley, BSRT, RRT, RRT-NPS, AE-C, CPFT, FAARC, AARC President. “These teams reach high standards and bring specialized skills, unique to respiratory care departments. We are thrilled to honor these organizations as Apex Recognition Award recipients.” These award recipients demonstrate best practices in the profession and promote patient safety by providing access to respiratory therapists to deliver their care.'

There are many places on this earth that can force you to connect mind, body, and spirit. But none more powerful in doing so that Iceland. The harsh landscape of their winters support 'mind over matter.' With our 8 days of travel in 30°F weather and wind of 15mph with gusts up to 30mph. By the end of it, we were exploring in jackets. I will forever hold this country in a special place of my ❤. I dream of the day of taking Hannah Dewberry with me. I tagged most of the crew I traveled with the first time. A special thank you to Amber Jenica for talking me into this.
