True story: sometime in between these photos, we stopped to take a break for a few seconds so a group of tourists could walk in between us on the sidewalk. And then not far behind, came a guy running in an orange jumpsuit with something about a Lancaster prison written in black on his back. When he got closer, we noticed he was cuffed in the front. He continued on, grunting as he struggled to keep running and turned the corner, probably not knowing he was headed right for the square

Clients: thank you for a productive whirlwind of a year! Thank you for allowing me to photograph you. Some moments felt so sacred, and yet you’ve allowed me in them so you can remember through images. Thank you for not caring what’s on my social media feed. It gives me the freedom to focus on editing and time with my family and community. It’s been a year, and God is good.

This bride had the coolest “getting ready” location I’ve been to! It was an old stone house built in the 1700s that was all remodeled with an industrial vibe. Guys, the walls were stucco!

Kenny & Tania: such a fun couple to shoot! I’m so glad they were up for having their engagement session done in good ole’ Lanc city where we could find some unique backdrops. And it was a nice break from asking people to go sit in some weeds.
