In February 2013, I had the opportunity to visit Africa while filming the documentary, "Beyond the Banner" for Elevation Church . My love for documentary photography and "behind the scenes" work began there and this August, I'll journey back to Africa to continue my documentary work - this time...

When Eli & Lucas are all grown up, Megan & Michael will have these photos to remind them of what evenings were like with their babies. The beautiful chaos. The tears and the belly-laughs. {Dress Rehearsal} I spent yesterday on the big stage with Miss Charity and 160 of her tiny dancers. So much talent, grace & beauty on one stage...and we get to do it again (for REAL, this time!) at tonight's recital.

Y'all. I spent Wednesday with my friend Charity at her dance studio and I can't even begin to describe the joy that filled my heart as I watched her share her passion with dozens of girls...class after class...hour after hour.

There were a few times when I had to put the camera down and wipe away tears because I was either laughing hysterically at the preschoolers or moved by Charity's love for the girls and what she gets to do everyday. You inspire me, Charity! Thank you for letting me get a glimpse into your world this week :)
