Hey all!!

I have been slowly coming to the decision that I’m most likely going to need to “dismantle” my photography business. When I started this back in 2022, I was girl with big dreams who was freshly out of photography schooling. But between family and myself, we had a lack of knowledge and experience that if we knew then what we do now, things would have started very different and more educated. But hindsight 20/20 and all that. Now, the expenses are costing more than what I’m getting paid for photoshoots. And unfortunately for myself, while word of mouth has gotten me so far, it’s not gotten me to the point of getting any consistency when it comes to paying clientele. I hate to have to consider dismantling something that means so much to me, especially when it also feels like I’m letting those down closest to me. And boy do I love creating art with the amazing people I’ve met!

Do what does this mean? I’m taking a severe severe check into if I can continue doing this. If this year doesn’t show an uptick into paying clientele then by February 2027 I am most likely going to dismantle.
Any and all photoshoots will be planned for 2026 and of course all planned photoshoots will still be a go!! I’m so excited for these photoshoots I have planned❤️.

Even if I dismantle, I am not going to give up photography forever. I don’t think I could. But it will mean that if I do dismantle photoshoots will be taken at a strongly low rate and that will be decided when the new year comes.
