I think it’s safe to say this baby girl has a pretty big fan club already! Between her big sister and their sweet pup, she was getting plenty of attention during our morning together. 🤍

I always love getting this sweet family in front of my camera! There is never a shortage of laughs, and we always have SO much fun together. Truly one of those sessions that leaves me smiling the whole way home!

The tiniest details are always some of my favorite moments to document during newborn sessions. So simple, but so worth remembering 🥹❤️

A little bit of running, a whole lot of laughter, and two little boys who kept us on our toes!

I loved getting to spend the evening with this sweet family! Between the giggles, cuddles, and all the playful moments in between, this session was such a fun reminder that family photos don’t have to be perfectly posed to be beautiful.

These are always my favorite kinds of sessions!

Fall sessions are officially in full swing and I am loving every bit of it. The warm light, changing colors, cozy outfits, and getting to photograph families in this season just feels extra special.

My fall calendar is very full, and I’m so grateful for every family trusting me with their photos this year. I cannot wait to share more from all of these sessions.

One of my favorite things about in home newborn sessions is that we really don’t need a “perfect” space to make beautiful photos.

These were taken in the corner of their dining room because that’s where the light was best that day. I bring a posing bag with me, and if parents want, we can do a mix of wrapped and unwrapped photos of baby for those sweet little solo shots too.

I just find the best light in your home and build the session around that. Simple, cozy, and way less complicated than it probably looks from the final photos.

For all the new faces around here, hi!! I’m Kyra (pronounced key-ra).

I’m the one planning your session with you, helping with outfits, making your kids laugh, letting them be a little wild, and turning all of that personality into photos that actually feel like them.

I’m a wife, mom to two little girls, and a family + newborn photographer serving Holly Springs, Cary, Apex, Raleigh, and the surrounding areas. I love photos that feel natural, playful, and actually like your family.

A few random things about me:
1. Before photography, I owned a macaron business, and I still love bringing that little piece of it into my work now. My in-home newborn clients get a box of fresh macarons made just for them after their session.

2. I love photographing fall. Give me cooler temps, pretty tones, and kids who can run around without everyone melting, and I’m happy.

3. I’m a planner through and through, which means I’m usually thinking about all the little details before you ever have to.

4. I’m definitely a sweets person, especially anything chocolate.

5. I love kids with big personalities, and some of my favorite photos come from the moments that feel a little wild and completely unscripted.

6. I will probably remember the tiny random thing your child told me at your session long after the session is over.

7. One of my favorite parts of this job is finishing a gallery and knowing a family is about to see those moments for the first time.

If you’re new here, I’m so glad you found me. And if you’ve been here for a while, thank you for sticking around, supporting this business of mine, and trusting me with your families💖

Gallery delivery day for this sweet family 🤍

And when I tell you it was HARD to pick just a few to share from this one…

Baby sister right in the middle of three busy, silly, completely smitten big brothers. I love that these photos capture exactly what their family feels like right now, a little chaotic, a whole lot of fun, and so full of love.
