Come on, I know for a fact there are hundreds more:)
Our first wedding just celebrated their 25 wedding anniversary - June 2, 2001! My nephew says, "since you have taken every other picture of me, you will take my wedding pictures also", and then it started!
We, as a family, have decided to stop doing weddings and focus on other areas of photography. I have enjoyed capturing the memories of a wedding day and sharing in the excitement of new love. We only have one more family wedding scheduled.
I thought it would be fun to have past brides/grooms or anyone that was in or at one of the weddings we photographed to share a picture we took and the year it was taken.
When I started to look back at the weddings we photographed and some memories came flooding back.
Just a handful of my wedding stories:
1. When I locked my keys in my car at a wedding with all my equipment in the car, thank goodness we were only minutes from our house!
2. When I realized that something was wrong with the very pregnant maid-of-honor. When I questioned her, she said I'm in labor but don't tell anyone until after the wedding. Lee and I as past EMT's, said we will watch her and if she needed anything she just needed to look at me. We made it through the wedding, a couple pictures, and the maid-of-honor (and the dad who was the best man), left and delivered a healthy baby while we were at the reception.
3. A Halloween wedding with all the pictures taken in a cemetary.
4. When the father of the bride wore a Scottish kilt and mooned the guests at the reception!
I honestly could go on and on. I love the memories!! Thanks for letting me share in your special day!
