A stunning morning in Yellowstone. A member of the Wapiti Lake Pack. Out of all my trips to Yellowstone, I finally was able to get some usable pictures of these amazing wolves. Very thankful for the opportunity to be able to watch them!

This coyote was wondering around Lamar Valley in Yellowstone. Checking for voles and mice, a meal was on its mind. Keeping an eye on me for a brief moment in the midst of its hunt. Something caught its interest and quickly disappeared into the sagebrush. Great experience!

I decided to head to Yellowstone NP for my first winter park visit. It was very mild with little to no snow. This winter is one of the strangest I’ve ever seen I can remember. Multiple days I staked out the otter family inside the park, but they didn’t want to cooperate. Just by blind luck though, this momma and her two kids happened to swim by and head into their home. These guys were fast swimmers and hard to get a clear shot. They weren’t messing around! Super thankful for being able to see them.

Out here in Yellowstone NP for a few days. It’s been quite pleasant and really good weather! It seems funny to say we were hoping for more snow, but this winter has been a strange one! I’m super thankful to the commitment of the and the work they do to preserve the park and take care of our public lands. It is appreciated and doesn’t go unnoticed!
