He's two years old, nearly on his own, and clearly not taking life too seriously just yet. 🐯

This is the young male cub of tigress T-141, spotted in Panna Tiger Reserve doing what any apex predator does between hunts — rolling around in the dirt like he owns the place. (He kind of does.)

But that last frame? Pure confidence. This boy knows exactly who he is and where he's headed. Watch out, Panna.

📸 Tip: swipe through for the full personality arc — lazy to lethal in four shots.

When the heat of the day becomes too much, even the most powerful hunters seek stillness. 🐯💧

Caught these beautiful Bengal tigers cooling off at a waterhole in Panna Tiger Reserve — one soaking in quiet contemplation, the other keeping watch. That moment of a tiger meeting its own reflection? Pure magic through the lens.

These are the cubs of the legendary tigress T-151, one of Panna's most celebrated mothers. 🐾

📸 Tip: swipe to the last frame for that reflection shot — the symmetry of stripes above and below the water is something else.

Panna never disappoints. 🙏

Everyone comes to Panna for tigers—don’t worry I got some and they will be coming soon to you! The Ken River behind our lodge had other plans. Many species were seen without moving more than 100 meters from the lodge. This was simply an outing on the first evening that we arrived. A white-throated kingfisher, a white browed wagtail, a flying fox coming straight at me, great thick knees with one that had an injured foot from fishing line — and somehow a little cormorant and cattle egret sharing the same rock like old friends. This place doesn’t get enough credit and I’m just getting started. 🌿

“Sticks”

This image has officially been nominated for the People’s Vote Award in the Exposure One Awards after being selected by the competition judges, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Much of Yellowstone’s lodgepole pine forest grows “doghair” thick — crowded, tangled, and chaotic. This particular stand, however, was clean along the lower trunks. By using a slow shutter speed, I intentionally set the trees in motion, transforming rigid forms into flowing lines and creating a more abstract interpretation of the forest.

I’m a professional nature and wildlife photographer based in Gardiner, Montana, at the gateway to Yellowstone National Park. I offer private Yellowstone tours, wildlife photography workshops both domestically and internationally, and fine art prints in a variety of mediums. My work has taken me across the globe on wild pursuits, continually refining my craft. Above all, I’m driven by a passion for creating meaningful, immersive experiences through authentic encounters in wild places.

Voting is open now through May 24th, and you can cast a vote once per day.

Thank you all again for being part of this journey and for supporting my photography over the years.

“Hanging in There”

Honored to have this image nominated for the People’s Vote Award in the Exposure One Awards.

Millions visit Yellowstone National Park each year to photograph the iconic Lower Falls, but I wanted to look beyond the obvious frame. At just the right light, a lone lodgepole pine clings to rhyolitic rock above the canyon — a quiet symbol of resilience surrounded by immense power and scale.

Each nominated photograph first had to be selected by the judging panel before advancing into the public voting stage, so simply having this image included is something I’m extremely grateful for. Additionally, this photograph received an Honorable Mention in the 2025 International Photography Awards and I'm proud to have it nominated here as well.

Voting is now open, and you’re able to vote once every day until May 24th.

If this image speaks to you, I’d greatly appreciate your support. The voting link is available in my bio.

“Shed Hunter”

I’m incredibly honored to share that this image was nominated for the People’s Vote Award in the Exposure One Awards after advancing through the judging panel.

This once gray wolf (R.I.P. 1479) of Yellowstone’s Junction Butte Pack paused briefly along the hillside before lifting a large elk antler to carry back toward the pups waiting at the den. Moments like this are fleeting and unpredictable, reminding me why patience and understanding animal behavior are so important in wildlife photography.

“Bitter”

I’m honored to share that this image has been nominated for the People’s Vote Award in the Exposure One Awards after being selected by the panel of judges.

A dominant American bison bull, massive and commanding, leads another along a snow-covered road in the interior of Yellowstone National Park. His eyes—and his posture—carry the hardened temperament of one shaped by winter, seasoned and unyielding against the cold.
