Philosophical Fool

Philosophical Fool I just try to experience new and exciting things, so why not also try to capture their beauty and make it my phone background Thanks for checking out my page!

I try to find the opportunity to get up and go somewhere new whenever I can. I've been lucky enough to see many beautiful places, and figured it only made sense to take photos of these settings to remember later on and share. Turns out that it's easy to capture amazing bviews when they are right in front of you. So I've turned into an amateur photographer, hoping to tie this hobby into my travels, so I can keep going and going.

Can you spot the coyote and wolf in these two pics? Not too difficult but they’re trying lol. I tell yah it’s a lot harder with a vast wilderness in front of you and no frickin telescope. But yet again, we were very lucky with these graceful beasts.

The frozen waters of Yellowstone in Spring, including the vast and white Lake Yellowstone, and the secluded duck lake with its defensive stronghold of driftwood nearby. Supposedly that ice would be melted in a week after our visit, can someone send me a more recent pic for proof?
Wasn’t any boating this go around, but it looked beautiful like Snow White.

Trees, trees, and Audreys.
Yellowstone is absolutely infested with lodgepole pines, and largely because of the wildfires in 1988, many were all seeded naturally close together and at the same time, and seem to have a uniform height pleasing to the eye. Though of course there’s a variety of flora, just as there is fauna, making a wonderland for all your needs.
(I snuck one photo of Grand Teton in there...)

Saw bunches of stuff in Yellowstone. I have about 3000 photos to go through, though I swear I did some things without looking through my camera mom.
Here’s just a snippet, including geysers, coyote, benchporn, and seas of trees. I’ll be following up with Yellowstone stuff until I run out lol.

I like big buttes and I cannot lie.
Had to do it to em using this free promo credit IG gave me just to get close to my original reach with one of my bestest most favoritest pics lol.

This is sunrise on the road out of monument valley, an eponymously monumental experience that leaves you staring in awe. I just love big rocks, don’t you?

I like the premise of this private land trust, only allowing maximum number of entries and on weekends only, charging a fee. May seem prohibitive on the surface, but maintains the land in more ways than one, and even allows for a more enjoyable experience for hikers.

Don’t you wanna Sedona, Arizona?
Beautiful little town that’s tough to get to in the winter, but it’s a drive to love with this scenery. People come up to this exact spot like every day for the sunset apparently. Makes for a cool town with like minded nature lovers.

The perfect combination of striking scenery, heavenly weather, and holy history in Meteora, Greece. It’s a 5 hour trip by train one way, but both the journey and destination made it worthwhile. I finished a book from start to finish in one day thanks to this trip. Seems like I need more train rides in my life to get my reading on. That or better time management, and one’s a little easier. Though just like getting to this view, the journey is worthwhile. Sorry just convincing myself to pick up a book lol, and hopefully convincing you to get your butt to Meteora!

Cool stormy night view of Crystal Bridges museum. Couldn’t hack it outside for a better lightning photo, had to run inside right after this, the mark of a true photographer 😅 .
