Thought it was about time for a little reintroduction for those following along with my little photog biz!
Hi! I’m Zoe — but Zo works too 😉
A little about me: I married my best friend last summer and officially became a South Dakotan! We’ve been busy remodeling our first home, stepping into the Airbnb hosting world, enjoying lake life in Yankton, and most recently chasing around our new standard poodle, Tilly. We don’t find ourselves sitting still very long these days… and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way 🤪
I bought my first camera on a whim in 2021 and had zero clue what I was doing hahah. Fast forward to today, and somehow photography has turned into my main job AND something I genuinely love.
Starting a business (especially in a town that was still new to me) was scary 🤣. But you guys have shown up in ways I never could have expected. To every past client who has trusted me with your memories: THANK YOU. 🤎
My heart is in capturing the real stuff. The people, places, and little moments that make you you. I love a good smiling portrait, but I might love the photo of your 4-year-old making a ridiculous face even more 😉
Galway means “stony river.” Since Yankton is built along the beautiful Missouri River, it felt pretty fitting. And yes… my last name is Gall, too 😉
Galway is the name my husband and I use for our business entities — Galway Homes 🏠, Galway Nurseries 🐷, etc. Don’t tell anyone, but Galway Galleries is definitely my favorite 📷 🙃
