Fort Columbia Historical State Park ❤️

This place has always held a special place in my heart. This place has been part of my childhood memories—every trip to Long Beach, my family would stop here.

It’s even more special to me because a piece of my grandpa will always be here, making every visit feel a little more meaningful.

It wasn’t until recently that I learned Fort Columbia was never actually used in battle, which made me appreciate its history even more.

If you love history, beautiful views, or simply discovering hidden gems, I’m telling you this is definitely a place worth adding to your PNW bucket list.
