From inside to earthside. 🤍

There is something so special about documenting a family's journey from anticipating their little one to finally holding them in their arms. It has been such an honor to tell this beautiful story as this wonderful family welcomed their sweet baby girl into the world.

Watching these moments unfold and preserving them from bump to baby is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

Picture the most beautiful day... until you pull up to your session and see storm clouds rolling in. 🌧️

With sprinkles starting to fall and only moments to spare, did this mama to-be panic? Worry about her hair and makeup? Refuse to continue?

Not for a second. Instead, she embraced the chaos, let go of the expectations, leaned into the moment, and trusted me completely. And because of that, we created something truly beautiful.

Some of my favorite images happen when things don't go according to plan. The laughter is real, the connection is genuine, and the memories become even more meaningful.

Rain and all, this session was pure magic.✨ So excited to meet their beautiful babe soon!

How is it already summer?! ☀️

I recently started the last year of my 30s, school is officially out, and somehow we're already soaking up all that summer has to offer. It's been a little quiet around here lately as outdoor session season kicked into high gear and I've been focused on all the behind-the-scenes work that keeps this little business running.

Even though I haven't been sharing much, I've still been doing what I love, capturing beautiful families, growing babies, and all the sweet connections. I have so many beautiful sessions to share and can't wait to start catching you up on what I've been creating these past few months.

And speaking of sharing... this session isn't my typical golden-hour shoot. It was photographed midday in full sun, and honestly, I'm kind of obsessed with how it turned out. ☀️ Proof that sometimes stepping outside your comfort zone creates a little magic.

I'm feeling refreshed, inspired, and excited for everything this season has in store.

Sometimes toddlers be toddlering, and I’m like… challenge accepted 🫡

I’ve got plenty of tricks up my sleeves, and I’m always leaning into movement during portraits. The best way to keep a toddler happy, engaged, and actually wanting to participate? Play 🤍

I put a lot of thought into what I’m delivering to families at the end of a session, images that feel like you. Joyful, connected, full of life. And the truth is, that doesn’t come from asking a toddler to “say cheese.”

It comes from games, from interaction, from letting them be a little wild, and capturing those real, toothy grins along the way ✨
