Every session includes professional hair and makeup, a curated wardrobe in sizes XS–5XL, shoes in sizes 6–12, expert posing guidance for every body type, one-on-one support throughout, same-day image reveal and ordering, and professional retouching on all final images. We handle everything else. Valerie photographs women of all ages, sizes, backgrounds, and body types. Most clients are women in midlife navigating a transition, celebrating a milestone, or simply making a long-overdue investment in themselves. Whether you are marking a birthday, stepping into a new chapter, recovering your confidence after a major life change, or finally deciding it is your turn, this experience was made for you. Past clients describe their sessions as life-changing, not just because of the images, but because of how they felt during and after. Someone said something to you once.

Maybe it was a parent. A partner. A stranger. Maybe you were just a kid.

And it lodged itself somewhere deep and quiet, and you've been carrying it ever since.

You probably don't even think about it consciously anymore. It just became part of how you see yourself.

I've heard so many of these stories inside my studio walls. Women who laugh a little when they say it, like it's not a big deal. But it is. It was.

Words land. And sometimes they stay way too long.

Part of what I do — without ever saying it out loud — is replace that old story with a new one.

One that's actually true.

The mirror is not a camera.

And the camera is not the mirror.

Most women come in convinced they know exactly what they look like in photos. They've already decided.

But the mirror shows you a flat, straight-on, unlit version of yourself, maybe under fluorescent light, and often at your most exhausted.

It doesn't show you the way light falls across your collarbone.
It doesn't show you the strength in your posture when someone tells you where to put your hands.
It doesn't show you the version of yourself that makes people stop scrolling.

The mirror only shows you what you expect to see.

I show you what's actually there.

Those are very different things.

The biggest myth about bo***ir photography is that it's for women who are already confident.

It's not.

The most nervous woman who has ever sat in my makeup chair — shaking hands, apologizing, convinced she'd hate every photo — walked out holding her images like they were something precious.

Because confidence isn't what you bring in.

It's what you find when someone finally shows you what was there all along.

That's the whole point.

Yeah. I see you.

You've spent years being the one who holds it together. The one who shows up. The one who makes sure everyone else feels seen and celebrated.

And somewhere in all of that, you stopped putting yourself on the list.

Not because you don't matter. You just got very, very good at forgetting that you do.
