It is with great sadness that we announce our closing after 67 years in business. Our last day will be January 31, 2024, we will not be re-opening.
We have loved serving our customers and being a part of this wonderful community. Unfortunately due to the industry changing, Covid-19 shutdowns, as well as the economy, our small business has been impacted greatly. We do not take the decision to close lightly and we appreciate all of the support of our customers over the years.
A little history on our location and business:
In the late 1800’s our great-great grandfather Fred Engfehr sold and repaired carriages, agricultural implements, tools, and vehicles in the very building that Midwest Camera Repair, Inc. is in. In the 1900’s our grandfather before starting Feldman Camera Exchange, worked out of the downstairs making parts for a car manufacturer. While upstairs there was a hall that was rented for weddings, parties, etc. Then in the late 1950’s our Dad Ray and Uncle Melvin moved in with Midwest Camera Repair, Inc.
Thank you to everyone that has visited our establishment over the years. We truly appreciate you and we have many wonderful memories that we will be taking with us.
