“I didn't know I was still in there.” ❤️

Those words have stayed with me.

When I began photographing women for As I Am, two of the first women I photographed had almost exactly the same reaction when they saw their portraits.

They were surprised. They were emotional. And both said, “I didn't know I was still in there.”

What struck me was that neither woman had changed who she was.

They were simply seeing themselves in a way they hadn't in a long time.

And that's a big part of why I created As I Am.

As women, we spend so much of our lives focused on everything and everyone around us. Somewhere along the way, we don't always take the time to recognize the women we've become.

I want to change that, one portrait experience at a time.

Because every woman has a story worth celebrating. ❤️

Every woman has a story worth celebrating.

I've been working on something that's become very special to me and I'm excited to finally share it.

As I Am is a personalized portrait experience created to celebrate women and the lives they've lived, the experiences they've had and the people they've become.

Somewhere between raising families, building careers, navigating challenges and simply keeping up with everyday life, we don't always take the time to celebrate ourselves.

That's what I want As I Am to be.

An opportunity to step away from everyday responsibilities, enjoy an experience that's entirely about you and see yourself in a whole new light.

Because there's something pretty wonderful about recognizing the woman you've become.

We don't just pick a time and have you show up, hoping for the best. My process includes time for meeting before hand to plan your session. I work with you to put your wardrobe together and decide where in your home your new art work will live. Our session time is not crammed into a small window, hoping that the kids are cooperating. We give plenty of time to ensure that everyone is engaged in the experience.
