What a beautiful day 🤍
I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who made the 1st Annual Northeast Connecticut Wedding Expo such a special event. To the hosts- Mountain Laurel Floral Designs CT Destination Event Co the venue- Hope Lodge Venue, the vendors, and every couple who came through the doors—thank you for your time, your energy, and for being part of something so meaningful.
People often think expos are only about bookings or sales, but for me, they’ve always meant so much more than that.
Yes, meeting engaged couples and hearing all about their wedding plans is always such a highlight… but what truly makes these events special is the connection behind them.
The conversations.
The networking.
The support.
The relationships built within the wedding community.
There is something so powerful about being in a room full of people who all play a part in creating one of the most important days in someone’s life. Florists, DJs, bakers, planners, venues, photographers, beauty professionals, and so many more—all coming together with the same goal: to help couples create something unforgettable.
That sense of community is exactly why I continue to host expos of my own each year. It’s never just about the event itself—it’s about bringing people together, creating opportunities, supporting one another, and building something bigger than ourselves.
I’m so grateful to have been part of today and to have met so many wonderful people along the way 🤍
