Product Photography for Helen of Troy | Drybar DETOX RESET Campaign

I recently worked with Helen of Troy on a product photography campaign for the Drybar DETOX RESET line. This was a commercial beauty product photography shoot focused on clean, consistent imagery for ecommerce, marketing, and brand use.

The entire shoot was photographed on location in Helen of Troy’s photography studio, using a controlled setup and clean background approach to keep the focus entirely on the product. The goal was straightforward: sharp, polished product photography that reflects the Drybar brand while maintaining consistency across the full DETOX RESET line.

I worked closely with stylist Beth Wickwire to ensure each setup was properly styled and camera-ready. My assistant Jenna Baronoski was also on set, helping manage production flow and ensuring efficiency throughout the shoot.

As a Massachusetts-based commercial product photographer, I focus heavily on precision lighting and repeatable setups—where consistency across a product line is critical. This project required a clean, minimal aesthetic that allowed the packaging and product design to stand on its own without distraction.

The final images from the Drybar DETOX RESET campaign deliver a cohesive, studio-clean look designed for both digital and retail applications.

A little different from what I usually share here—but a lot of people don’t know that I’m also the Technical Director for 4th Wall Stage Company, and this show has been a big part of my world lately.

Union St. Studio is located in a turn of the century mill building in downtown Worcester. It has 1,200 square feet of space with 13.5' ceilings, large west facing windows with room darkening shades, a separate make up/dressing room, full kitchen, private bath, WiFi, central A/C, and Bose sound. It is an elevator building with free parking, and is a 5 minute walk from the MBTA station. All rentals include 2 sets of saw horses, 6' ladder, and 4 apple boxes.
