Regarding the post below. It's neat to notice the difference of the same part of the Milky Way as seen from Wisconsin at the same time of year (August). The center of the galaxy is just above the horizon. Ah, latitude.

Alright, can everyone see why we need downward facing lighting in cities. Anyone? This is a relatively small town too!

Caught this Pileated Woodpecker in our front yard yesterday morning. Huge bird, I would estimate 12-16" in length. The hole is the size of my palm... I couldn't get a great angle without limbs, but thought it was worth sharing.
