Today marks 10 years since I moved to America. From not speaking English to capturing over 100 weddings and 10 countries… what a decade it’s been.

I came here not knowing anyone and without speaking the language. Today, I’ve built a life I never could’ve imagined: I learned English & Spanish, met and married the love of my life, and started a thriving photography business that’s allowed me to capture over 100 weddings, countless sessions, and create memories for so many incredible people.

That business has given me not only freedom and financial stability, but also the chance to see the world - 10 countries in just the last few years, and so many more to come. 🌎

I’m often my own harshest critic, but when I think back to the 19 year old girl who left her family and everything she knew to take a chance on a new life, I just want to tell her: you’ll be so proud of how far you’ve come. 🥹

Above all, I’m thankful to God for blessing me beyond measure, to my family for supporting me even from thousands of miles away, and to my incredible clients who trust me with their most precious memories.

Here’s to the next 10 years, to chasing dreams, and to everything still ahead. 🤍 What’s one of your dreams you’re most proud of?
