There is a lot going on - I'm behind on updating socials but that editing queue is almost caught up before we head into another crazy weekend.

You guys... 🥺🥹

At the start of the year I was worrying, like most small businesses, how this year would go. It's a rocky time out there for everyone and it's hard to plan ahead and know how things will pan out. Everything in business is getting more expensive (like everything else). Cameras, gear, storage, and all the things. Some things have nearly tripled in price in the last year alone.

But I put my head down and gambled on myself, again. I don't know what the future holds but I'm so grateful for all of you and am proud to say this year has been better than I could have ever imagined.

A couple more big weeks of outdoor bookings, a month of holiday sessions, and then that's a wrap on 2026. I'm excited to see where 2027 takes us but I'm going to enjoy where I'm at for now. 🎃

I'm so excited to see so many familiar names on the holiday session schedule and some brand new faces too!

I counted 6 or 7 studio spots left in November. (Some morning, some afternoon, some evening). I will likely not add anymore once they're filled. It has been a really busy couple months - I'm extremely grateful - but also already a bit overwhelmed. 😅🫠

The editing marathon continues (I promise you I'm trying my very best to get caught up, nobody wants an empty queue more than me lol) and I never want anyone waiting on photos for the Christmas cards/timely gifts, etc.

SO if you're looking for holiday photos (especially if you need a specific time of day dodging nap times and things) hop on over and get booked before I run out of spots.

I can't thank you all enough. I know things are really tight for everyone right now and your support of my little business and family means everything to me. 💜

(And if you can't swing holiday photos this season this is your reminder that the holidays will still be magical so don't stress yourself out - moms I'm looking at you. 👀 Let go of the guilt if everything isn't the way it "always is" your kids just want to make memories with you.)

October is officially booked (pending the completion of a couple booking invoices - if for some reason those dates reopen I'll post more info). There are a couple spots left in November then that's a wrap for outdoor sessions in 2026.

Still booking studio holiday sessions and I will have my normal winter wait-list for the snow lovers.

My editing list is very long right now but I'm doing my best to get things caught up. I have so much to share with all of you. 🫠🫠

My wild child turned 6 yesterday.

She earned a really cool, big award at school Friday so we got the chance to go in and surprise her while she received it. Then we spent all weekend doing the things she wanted to do including a little party with cake and her buddies. (Well we tried to fit everything in, the list was big.)

My heart bursts with so much joy watching her grow and change. We are so proud of who she is.

I shared this story on my personal page but our favorite business owner/barista calls her "intense" (complimentary) and I have never heard her described so perfectly. She *is* intense. Intensely funny. Intensely serious about the things she cares about. Intensely strong. Intensely smart. Intensely curious. Intensely independent. Intensely herself through and through.

She has a giant heart and cares deeply about those around her. She is sweet (unless you tell her to smile or suggest she do something in a different way than her own 😅). She is who she is and I hope she always remembers she's loved for exactly that. It's all waiting there for you.

Keeping being you, sweet girl. 💜
