Eric and Emily. E & E. My lanta this engagement session was a balm to my soul.
Emily has become a very dear and close friend to me and I had the honor of witnessing the beginning of her relationship with Eric, and now I get to take their wedding photos!
It’s also such a blessing to see the man one of your close friends chooses to marry just absolutely treat her with love and respect and kindness. Emily has told me she feels safe with Eric and that’s palpable to me.
Another joy is that Emily and I both share a passion for artistic expression through photography. So when she asked me to take their wedding photos, she knew I wanted to get back into film and has indulged me in this endeavor. I just sent my first roll of film in for development (I say my first roll, but I mean with a big time developer, not just Walmart, ya know?) a couple days ago and we’re both anticipating the results like it’s Christmas morning. 🥲
