We were out shooting these yesterday and thought… yeah, we should probably do spring minis 🌸😂

So let’s do it.

Spring Mini Sessions are officially open:
📅 Sunday, April 26
📍 OARDC
⏱ 20 minutes
💲 $75

Hoping the trees still show up like this for us 🤞
If they do, we’re in business… if not, we’ll still make it work (it is Ohio after all you never know).

Perfect for families, couples, or just getting some updated photos without committing to a full session.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll reschedule—no stress.

Spots are limited—grab one here:

Need a different time or date? Reach out and we’ll see what we can do!

Brian & Jacklyn’s wedding day last year was one of those that just felt easy — in the best way.

No rushing, no over-posing, no pressure to make things “perfect.” Just a day that naturally unfolded with a lot of genuine moments, laughs, and time spent with the people that mattered most.

That’s always been the way I like to approach weddings.

I’m not there to overly direct every second — I’m there to capture the day as it actually felt. The in-between moments, the reactions, the things you don’t even realize are happening at the time.

Because those are the photos that end up meaning the most later.

I still have a few dates open for this year — if you’re planning a wedding and that style resonates with you, I’d love to connect!

Alright I need some opinions…

I’m thinking about doing some spring mini sessions this year — something quick and simple for families, couples, etc.

Probably at OARDC once everything starts blooming (should be coming up here soon depending on the weather).

I don’t do a ton of spring portrait stuff, but I feel like it could be a fun time!

Would you or anyone you know be interested in something like that? If so, feel free to throw something in the comments or tag some people in the comments that might be interested!

Hey friends—it’s that time of year again. 🍁

If family photos are on your to-do list (or if someone’s been hinting they want them for Christmas), now’s the time to schedule! These fall colors won’t last forever.

Let’s get your people in front of the camera before those leaves all fall. You’ll be glad you did!

Sunday, (9/7/2025), I had the honor of photographing the Wayne County Junior Fair King & Queen 70th Anniversary Celebration — a special event recognizing generations of Wayne County fair royalty as part of the 2025 Wayne County Fair.

From group photos of past court members to candid moments, it was such a cool celebration of tradition, agriculture, and community.

If you were there and lost the paper with the gallery link — or just want to browse through the memories — you can view the full gallery here:

On September 2nd, I had the privilege of photographing a recognition luncheon honoring the remaining World War II veterans from Wayne County.

Hosted at Greystone event center , the event was a heartfelt tribute to the Greatest Generation—those who came of age during the Great Depression, fought in history’s largest global conflict, and helped shape the world we live in today.

The featured speaker was Lieutenant Commander Haraz N. Ghanbari, who currently serves Ohio’s 75th House District. A Navy veteran of both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve, Lt. CDR Ghanbari has spent more than two decades in military service and was inducted into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame in 2018 as its youngest honoree. His inspiring remarks reflected on patriotism, perseverance, and his own journey as the son of an Iranian immigrant seeking a better life in America.

It’s staggering to realize that in 2025, most living WWII veterans are now in their late 90s or older—and fewer than 1% of those who served are still with us. Each of these moments of recognition becomes more sacred with time.

Events like this always ground me. In the middle of busy weeks and endless to-do lists, it's a powerful reminder of why this work matters. It’s truly an honor to be trusted with preserving these stories, even in some small way.

Thank you to every veteran in attendance—and to those who continue to make sure their legacy is never forgotten.

These two showed up ready for romance, chaos, and whatever happened in between.

There was wind. There was motion. There was that perfect blend of “we know what we’re doing” and “we’re just here to have fun and hope the lighting holds.”

Brian and Jacklyn made this session easy in the best way—no overthinking, no posing panic, just good energy and great timing.

Grateful to document this season of their story. Can’t wait for the wedding day less than three weeks away!

On July 29th, I had the privilege of photographing a recognition luncheon honoring Wayne County veterans who served during the Korean Conflict (1950–1954).

Hosted at the Greystone event center , the event included presentations of the Ambassador of Peace Medal from the Republic of Korea, awarded to several Korean War veterans from our local community.

Consul Kwanhyun Kim, who currently oversees veteran affairs at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chicago, made the journey to personally present the medals.
Opening remarks were given by Wayne County Commissioners Matt Martin (USMC veteran) and David McMillen, as well as Maj. General John C. Harris, Director of the Ohio Department of Veterans Services, who recently assumed his role after 44 years of military service.

Also in attendance were members of Wooster Police Department , Wooster Fire Department , Wayne County Sheriff , and local first responders—many of whom are veterans themselves.

It was an incredible honor to document this moment of gratitude, reflection, and connection across generations.

Thank you to every veteran recognized—and to every person who continues to make sure their service is never forgotten.
