I’ve been quiet on here for quite some time, taking time for family and working through some personal matters, but I am so grateful I was able to capture this beautiful family once again as my first session back. They are dear friends of mine and I love watching their little girl grow up. Thanks for entrusting me once again as your family photographer

Sydney, Kingsway class of 2024. I had so much fun working with Sydney! She was up for anything even with the cold weather we had to endure. Sydney plans to stay semi-local and receive an "Early Childhood Degree" from Mount Vernon University. It has been a joy getting to know her and her family over the past couple years and our kids love when she comes over to babysit. Good luck in your next venture, you will do amazing!

Ivy, (Homeschool) Class of 2023. It has been a joy watching Ivy grow up in our church and youth group. She is extremely hard working and graduated a year early. Ivy has a passion for sign language and wants to use that to further the Kingdom, which is simply amazing. Thank you for choosing me to capture Ivy and celebrate her, it was an honor.

I thought I would share another favorite newborn pose of mine on this dreary Friday, this time showcasing the beautiful mamas. I love placing mom in front of a window and having her simply snuggle her baby. I believe it really captures her beauty and love for her precious babe ❤️

A little exciting family update today, we have baby chicks! We brought our six chicks home about two weeks ago (with more coming early summer) and everyone is in love with them. It has been a joy to share this new adventure with my kids and learn a lot along the way.

Self-sustainability has been a term floating around in my head since the fall. I feel that God has laid on my heart a desire to find ways I can be self reliant and nourish my family in a much healthier manner. Many people start a garden, or begin making bread, and my family chose to start off with chickens. I am excited to see what else God is going to lead me into and how we can continue to increase our sustainability within our own backyard.
