Our real barnwood plank backdrop is back in the studio and available for all rentals!

The planks have a white-painted finish on one side and a natural barnwood finish on the other, giving you two versatile backdrop options. You're welcome to use either side during your session.
Please use caution when handling the planks, as they are heavy. To ensure everyone's safety and help us maintain the studio setup, we ask that the planks not be moved elsewhere in the studio.

You don’t need a complicated lighting setup to create clean, flattering headshots.
The setup shown here uses:
✨ Our large light placed on the same side as the windows
✨ The white reflector on the opposite side to soften shadows
✨ Our black wall background for a timeless, distraction-free look

This classic one light arrangement creates even skin tones, natural catchlights, and a polished professional vibe.
Pro-tip: keep your subject 5-6' from the background and pull your light forward to avoid lighting the black wall.
