Wow, what an absolute monster of a storm we just got hit with in Woonsocket! ❄️🌨️ This unprecedented blizzard dumped historic amounts of snow on our city and left us all digging out from something we haven’t seen in decades.
To the incredible men and women of the Woonsocket Department of Public Works (DPW) — you guys absolutely crushed it! Working through brutal conditions, non-stop plowing, salting, and clearing roads so we could stay safe and get back to some kind of normal as quickly as possible… your hard work and dedication didn’t go unnoticed.
Thank you for the long hours, the tireless effort, and for keeping our streets passable in the middle of chaos. You’re the real heroes of this Blizzard of 2026! 💪🚜❤️
Shoutout to everyone out there still shoveling and helping neighbors too — we’ve got this Woonsocket Strong! Stay warm, stay safe, and let’s hope spring shows up soon. ☃️
