I have been silent, but thats not because I don't have anything to say, or that I haven't had things going on. I'm in the process of moving to a bigger studio space. Painting is finished and what organizational furniture i have has been moved. Now it comes down to organizing everything.

Good morning everyone! I just wanted to let my GARF friends know that I now have a coupon code for buying in my Etsy shop and picking your items up at the Fall Fling 2026. This code is good until December 5th 2026, which it the last weekend of Fall Fling.
How it works:
-Add items to your cart. There is no minimum purchase. It can me one small item or a large ticket item or several items.
-During checkout use code PICKUPONLY.
-And wallah! Shipping fees gone.
-A notification will then be sent via email with an update for shipping times to be during the festival. This just means that you intend to pick up the item(s) during the festival dates. Your items will be waiting for you at the counter with your first and last name. You will need to show ID or contact me prior to pick up if someone is picking them up for you.
-Once picked up, your order will be marked as picked up and you can leave a review if you love your pieces!

If items are not picked up by December 5th 2026, your order will be refunded, minus a 20% restock fee and the n canceled.

We are mid-renfest right now at the Georgia Renaissance Festival and for each of the themed weekends I have been changing out my window displays to go with the theme. Each week it gets a little bit... well, more! Last weekend was Clash of the Realms, cosplay weekend. I did an Alice In Wonderland theme. The week before was Crowns Companions, pet weekend. And opening weekend was Viking weekend. This weekend is Shakespeare Romance. Any guess on what I am making? Super excited about this one.

It's going to be a little real, a little personal today. Though I am exhausted, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. April 11th 2011, I opened my Etsy shop and started building this from the ground up, out of need to help support my family. April 11th 2026, is the opening weekend for the Georgia Renaissance Festival. Is it a coincidence that starting my business 15 years ago, and the opening weekend in my new building, land on the exact same day? The exact anniversary date? I think not. I never, ever thought I would be at this place. It has been incredibly hard and difficult. Owning and growing a business is not for the faint of heart. But here I am. Still. And now, I have a space that is mine. I couldn't have done it without the help of some very special people, but more about that later. I did chronicle the process, but have been working hard to finish on time so I haven't really been posting the process. For now, this is the work of our hands. The before, my vision drawing and the after. We will have a few details to finish before opening weekend. But we will make it. Celebrate with me next weekend on my anniversary and come to Georgia Renaissance Festival!
